She called 911 and told them that help had arrived. Before the officer and the tow truck arrived her friend showed up. 911 dispatch sent a officer and a tow truck to assist her. Being out in the country alone she called 911. With in seconds of turning around the car's warning light came on and she pulled to the side of the road. Being that she just left she pulled over and turned around to go back. She got three to four miles or so out of town when it started to over heat. My daughter was at a friends house most of the night. There is an open recall on the car's cooling system that can cause the car to over heat and catch fire, this is what happened. Now my vehicle will not turn on and has been sitting in the garage ever since because I can't afford the costly repairs. I told him that's funny because I bought the vehicle here less than two years ago and it hasn't been changed since. So now I'm upset because he's telling me whoever installed it put in a smaller one than the one that should be there. So the manager came back after a while talking to the mechanic working on my vehicle and said "they had to jump it a few times because it kept turning off". I asked to speak to the manager because my vehicle has no problems starting when I dropped it off that morning. My vehicle would not start so they had to give me a jump. I went to pick up my car from the service and noticed it was just sitting in the front outside of the service so I went to find someone for the keys. I called Ford customer service and they told me the recall for this issue for this was resolved and completed twice in the last two years. I noticed within the last week not only was the engine light on but as I was driving the car began to suddenly jerk and start to overheat. In the last two years my vehicle has had two recalls fixed for this issue. I went into my local Ford dealership for a recall on Jand also told them my engine light was on and my car was overheating. On March 24th, I was outside of a local store and in park and the temperature gauge moved again to the h while the car was on and idling. I turned the car off once parked and did not start it again for a couple of days. I recorded a video of the temperature gauge moving up and down and also the "power reduced to lower engine temp" message came on on the dashboard. On March 22, while driving, the temperature gauge started moving torward the h meaning the car is running hot again.
I then dropped the car off to richards auto repair in west columbia, carolina, he did a diagnostic and notified me that the tube assembly needed to be replaced. When I got to the dealer one of the salesman went to auto zone to do a diagnostic and the codes came back with a fuel issue.
I once again pulled over and got enough power to make it to the car dealer. When I left work for the day, the car cut off again while I was driving on the interstate. That morning I was on my way to work and I heard a blunt sound coming from my vehicle and the vehicle just cut off while I was on the highway and the check engine light came on. I get the car back on February 28th 2020. Pep boys had the car for about 5 days to repair. The problem was with the thermostat and the thermostat housing. The dealership directed me to take the vehicle to pep boys on broad river road, columbia south carolina to find and fix the problem. I put enough water back in it to take it back to the dealership.
I opened the hood and all my antifreeze and and water was spouting out of the reservoir. On February 23rd I was riding on i26 and my car started overheating. On February 11th 2020, I purchased a 2016 Ford Fusion with 73,000 miles from american car center in west columbia, s c.
